What does it mean to live in a place for an entire lifetime?
What does it mean to visit it, and then leave?
SQUARCI is a collage of fragments collected during Django Burdeau’s temporary residency in Arielli, in Abruzzo, Italy. It is the fruit of an encounter, a listening to the fading echoes of memory, a question whispered to the river of meanings. It is a fixed gaze on the silent responses of stones and faces, of trees and mountains.
